Hey there! I'm Joe Rivera, but you might know me better as DJ MOJOE. I'm a proud Ventura County native, a diligent student from the California State University of Northridge, and a passionate DJ enthusiast. But more than that, I'm a man on a mission. A mission to use my unique skill set, my ear for rhythm, and my love for melody to make a difference in people's lives.

You see, I believe life is too short to live in mediocrity. We're all here to celebrate, to cherish, and to truly enjoy every moment we've been given. And what better way to do that than with music?

Music has the power to move us, to unite us, to bring out the best in us, especially on a day when it matters. And that's exactly what I strive to do every time I step behind the decks.

Continuous Growth as a DJ

But I don't just rely on my natural talent. Even though I started off as a self-taught DJ, I've never stopped learning. I've trained with some of the best in the business, picked up tips from public speaking coaches, vocal trainers, and other professional performers. Why? Because I believe in investing in myself so that I can bring you the best experience possible. From the DJ collective in Arizona to the Scratch DJ Academy, I've honed my skills and refined my craft so that I can be the DJ that your event deserves.

I'm thrilled to have been featured in Shoutout LA Magazine and I pride myself on being an open format DJ, meaning I can spin anything from Top 40, Hip Hop & R&B, EDM, remixes, & mashups. But more than that, I'm a Filipino who loves dogs, fitness, travel, and food!
