This San Diego Wedding had great vibes and great music all around. It was an all-outdoor wedding that took place on the lawns of Botanica. This is one configuration and layout for a wedding celebration where we have the dinner reception on the upper lawn and the dancing in the lower corner area. Since this venue has a tropical feel, it's perfect for a summer wedding.
As for music, it was primarily a hip hop, r&b, reggae, Hawaiian, classic throwback vibe. I even got people singing and grooving during dinner, which helped build the energy leading to dancing later in the night.
For the dancing area, I decorated it with my party pillars and uplights, which illuminated the area with more light and color. It created a fun atmosphere that attracted people to come over and dance.
I also had another speaker placed on the upper lawn for those who wanted to chill. They can hear the same music being played for dancing but at a much quieter volume. But funny enough, some people on the upper lawn still danced.
I even had another speaker on the lower lawn to cover that area with sound. There was also a photo booth in that area, and the music helped guests enjoy the music.
Overall, I created an experience where guests all over the venue could hear good sound and good music so they could enjoy themselves wherever they were. And when I added some lights to the dance floor area, it helped make that section stand out and attracted people to come to that area and dance.
When it comes to San Diego wedding venues, Botanica is a popular choice for couples tying the knot. Christine, Anthony, and their family and friends all had a blast. Thank you for having me as your DJ!
