MY STORY

Finding the right company to host your website isn't an easy task. You have to think about ease of use, design, management & cost. I believe that having a well designed and managed website is central to help you stand out in the digital arena. So over the past 5 years, I've been investing my time, money and efforts to find & create my ideal website.

My website has gone through 5 re-designs with 4 different web hosts. Out of the 5 re-designs, I put my labor and sweat into 4 of them. As time went by, I noticed that technology and the internet were blooming as "new features" and "trends" appear that make websites better. It makes sense because technology is continually evolving to make it easier for the end consumer. At every stage of my website, I was happy with how it looked, but as time went on, I knew how important it was to be up-to date and keep up with leading trends in technology & design.

MY PROBLEM

Before my current Squarespace site, my website was designed and hosted by a third-company (I won't name) back in August 2015 and I loved it! However, it came at a hefty price of roughly $128 per month! I justified my costs when I saw the analytics, that my bounce rate went down from an average of 80% to about 30%. Numbers don't lie. I've also received compliments from many clients that they loved my website! For a good 10 months, I was proud of my website and was content with it. It wasn't until my good friends, Tiana and Paul from www.exoticgreengarden.com, shared with me their website hosted by Squarespace. Besides the great design and the user-friendly engine, I was blown away to hear the costs to run it -- $12 per month!

THE SWITCH & THE SOLUTION

I did the math. I could either continue to spend $1536 a year at my previous host OR $144 a year by switching to Squarespace. I chose Squarespace. Not only were the costs right, but Squarespace fits all the criteria I was looking for. It's super user-friendly, easy to manage, affordable, and beautifully designed to fit my style and tastes. After I switched, it took me about 1 week to design my current Squarespace website and now it looks even better and amazing thanbefore!

CONCLUSION

I saved over $1000 by switching to Squarespace! $1392 to be exact :) all while still having a beautifully designed, and if not, better website.

Anyways, I hope this article has given you some thoughts about Squarespace and what it can do for you. Thanks for your time reading this! If you have any thoughts or questions, please feel free to leave them in the comment section below. If not, let's stay connected on social media!

Best, Joe

PS. Special thanks to Tiana & Paul!
