We’ll have multiple meetings to ensure you know exactly what needs to be done from the time we book until the days leading up to your wedding. My goal is to set you up for success, helping you avoid procrastination and thoughtfully consider how you want your wedding to be.
By the time our meetings are complete, you’ll have a crystal-clear idea of how your wedding will unfold. This way, you can simply show up and enjoy your special day, knowing everything is in the capable hands of the professional vendors you’ve hired.

At Quail Ranch, your ceremony will take place at the beautiful lower part of the property, featuring elegant brick flooring. As your guests arrive, valet service will take care of their vehicles, ensuring a smooth start to the day. A staff member will then guide everyone to the ceremony area, where refreshments will be available to help keep your guests cool and comfortable.
Keep in mind that during the summer months, the ceremony area is exposed to the sun, and temperatures can get quite hot. I recommend providing thoughtful touches, such as umbrellas, fans, or other props, to keep your guests shaded and comfortable throughout the event.
As your guests settle in, I’ll be playing music to set a welcoming and calming atmosphere before the ceremony begins. Beforehand, I’ll also connect with your officiant to run sound checks and ensure that the microphones are working perfectly, so every word of your ceremony is heard clearly without any interruptions.
Before the ceremony starts, I typically:
Welcome everyone
Make an unplugged announcement, kindly asking guests to put away their phones and cameras
I’ll work closely with your coordinator to cue up the specific songs you’ve chosen for the processional and recessional, ensuring each moment is perfectly timed.
At the end of your ceremony, I’ll:

If needed, invite family members to stay behind for photos

At Quail Ranch, the cocktail hour takes place at the upper part of the property, near the roundabout. This area is comfortably shaded and conveniently located near the restrooms, offering your guests a relaxing space to catch up, enjoy drinks, and savor appetizers.
During this time, I provide a curated music experience to set the perfect vibe. Unlike DJs who simply press play and step away, I’ll be actively mixing music to enhance the atmosphere. By doing this, I can:
Avoid long, repetitive songs
Increase the variety of music played
Tailor the vibe to suit the energy of the crowd
My goal is to keep your guests entertained and engaged while they mingle, ensuring the cocktail hour feels lively and enjoyable. Mixing live also allows me to adjust the music based on the mood, so your guests are ready and excited for the next part of the celebration.
As I DJ from my main setup, I'll ensure the music flows seamlessly across the event space, maintaining the energy as we transition to the reception.

At Quail Ranch, your reception can be set up in one of two spots: either near the bar on the bricked flooring or at the back by the wide white wall. Both locations work beautifully, and with the right sound setup, everyone will be able to enjoy the music and hear important announcements, no matter where they’re seated.
Because the DJ and dance floor are located at the ends of the space, rather than centralized between the tables, sound needs to travel farther to reach everyone. Rather than blasting the music from one spot, I take a more thoughtful approach by placing a third speaker at a strategic location. This ensures that the sound is evenly balanced and clear throughout the space, so all of your guests can enjoy the celebration without it being too loud in one area and too quiet in another.
For the grand entrance, your wedding party and you will make a memorable entrance by starting at the upper platform near the pool and walking down to the dance floor, setting the tone for a stunning reception.
As the evening unfolds, I’ll help keep the night flowing smoothly. Not only will I play songs for all your special moments, dinner, and dancing, but I’ll also serve as your MC, guiding the event with energy and grace. By this point, we’ve already had our Zoom meetings and gone over every detail to make sure everything aligns with your vision. Now, it’s time to bring that vision to life, working with your other vendors to make the night seamless and fun.
In the evening, I’ll set the mood by placing uplights around the outdoor space, creating a warm, romantic atmosphere. Once the dancing begins, these lights will change colors to match the beat, adding a lively party vibe to the celebration.
If you decide to have a grand exit, it will be another magical moment to close out the night. You’ll be surrounded by friends and family as you make your way out, and I’ll have a portable speaker ready to play the perfect song for this unforgettable send-off.
