After reaching my 100th Event Log video, I decided to look back at my YouTube videos to see how much I've grown as a working, professional DJ.
I explain my DJ setup, my vlogging style and journey, people who have helped me along the way, new DJ gear that I purchased, video editing style, marketing strategies, growth of my YouTube channel, and some behind-the-scenes of my past events.

On June 11, 2017, I DJed an amazing wedding for Chris & Judy at the Calamigos Equestrian in Burbank, CA. That day I was in charge of their wedding ceremony, cocktail, and reception as the DJ/MC. On May 27, 2017, I DJed and hosted the wedding of Kristine & Linh in Alhambra! It was a Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipino Wedding with about 300 guests! Here's an amazing video put together by my friends at AndHer Visuals. Enjoy!
On May 13, 2017, I DJed the wedding of Erica and John at the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden at CSULB. It was a gorgeous outdoor wedding that I can definitely recommend to any couple who are looking for a garden setting.
That evening, I was in charge of their wedding reception. Music was very important to the couple and what made this wedding interesting was that the couple didn't want any of the traditional music that are played at weddings. That equated to a more vibey, upbeat and club-like wedding. And wow, what a party! The whole reception was just perfect and people had an amazing time on the dance floor.

On October 1, 2016, I DJed a fun wedding at the Agoura Hills Event Center for Megan & Sean! That day, I worked with an amazing wedding planner, Heather, owner of Delmar Events. Her and her team were such a great help that made the night flow smoothly. The photographers were also great as they brought their own light to capture the perfect picture every time. And as for music goes, well, I will let this video speak for itself. This was a joyous, fun, and amazing wedding and I'm glad I was able to be a part of it. Congratulations Megan and Sean! Wish you two the best!

"Saving the City, One Party at a Time"
On September 2, 2016, I had a blast DJing Brian and Eurri's wedding at the Vertigo Event Venue in Glendale, CA! We originally met at Downtown LA's Art Walk last year when I DJed an event there. They enjoyed my music, decided to book me, and a year later, we made their wedding into a reality! The wedding reception was full of fun as we turned the wedding into a full-on dance party! With the venue's built-in lighting effects and my sound system, we transformed the room into a club. The couple and I agreed that music plays such an important role in a wedding, and we were all happy how it all played out. Congratulations Brian and Eurri! Thanks for having me as your DJ.
On August 27, 2016, I DJed the wedding of Nick & Perveen at Chase Palm Park in Santa Barbara, California. The wedding was beautifully setup outdoors and was a great spot to host the reception. It was a fun-filled event as we had a balloon release, a surprise song performance by the groom, and dancing! The couple were from the bay so I threw in some hyphy dance hits into the set that I knew would make the crowd go crazy! Everybody had a great time and I received many compliments that night. Congratulations Nick & Perveen!
On August 6, 2016, I DJed a beautiful wedding at Walnut Grove in Moorpark, CA for Grace and Mac! We've known each other for over 10 years and it was such a great experience to DJ for them on their special day. That day, I was in charge of providing sound as well as being the DJ/MC for the wedding ceremony, cocktail, and reception. It was such a fun, outdoor wedding as everyone participated in some games, took some silly photos at the photo booth, and danced the entire night! I'm so happy for Grace and Mac and glad to hear that everyone had an amazing time. The video below captures some of the fun highlights from their wedding. Enjoy!

On July 26, 2016, I DJed the wedding of Thina & Tyson at the Black Walnut Ranch in Ojai, CA. It was an intimate wedding with their friends and family who flew from Australia and Sweden. I was in charge of the ceremony, cocktail, and reception. People had a great time throughout the night and I was even asked to extend my services for an extra hour of fun! Thina & Tyson had a blast at their wedding and their guests did, too. Below is a 5-star review that I received from Thina & a quick Snapchat video highlighting the events from that evening. On July 14, 2016, I DJed the launch of the new Hotel Angeleno! They just finished their multimillion dollar renovation around the hotel and they invited all of their valued partners and clients to share in the celebration! They also became a new member of Genre Hotels and received an exclusive partnership with Uber!
That night, I DJed on the top floor of the hotel providing fun music for all the guests. The guests enjoyed themselves so much, that the hotel extended my contract with them for another entertaining hour! The night was a success and happy for the growing success of Hotel Angeleno.

On April 24, 2016, I DJed the wedding of Faiza and Kevin on behalf of One Up Entertainment. It was an intimate wedding of about 40-50 people and took place at the gorgeous Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica, California. I was the DJ and MC throughout the wedding and was in charge of the ceremony, cocktail and reception that evening. This was my first wedding that I played Somali and African music. However, challenging at first, the end result was amazing. I played a mixture of Somali, Latin/Spanish, Hip hop, Dancehall, and Top 40 music that got everybody on the dancefloor. I received many compliments that night and received some praise from the groom himself. This was an amazing wedding and happy to have witness all of it. In this video, you'll see why. Enjoy!
